Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Engage in and improve services across their full lifecycle, from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Provide system design consulting, develop software platforms and frameworks, perform capacity planning, and conduct launch reviews before services go live.
- Maintain live services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
- Scale systems through automation and improve reliability and development velocity.
- Lead sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
- Architect resilient, automated production environments and lead responses to scaling, capacity, compliance, and operational challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- Three years of experience leading projects.
- Three years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Preferred: experience mentoring engineers and cultivating a high-standards team culture.
- Preferred: deep AI proficiency applied to ambiguous infrastructure issues and significant business impact.
- Preferred: ability to shape technical strategy, influence engineering decisions, and drive consensus across cross-functional teams.
Benefits
- US base salary is $207000 - $300000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
