Base Salary
$140k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test embedded and user applications in C++ and Rust for radar payload platforms.
- Develop software interfaces for ConOps processors, payload controllers, and payload subsystems.
- Build reliable, maintainable software for command, control, configuration, and data acquisition functions.
- Integrate application software with embedded platforms, payload electronics, spacecraft subsystems, firmware, and hardware.
- Debug and diagnose issues across software, firmware, and hardware boundaries using embedded debugging tools and system telemetry.
Requirements
- 6+ years of embedded software development experience in C/C++ and/or Rust.
- Experience writing reliable, maintainable application-level code for embedded systems.
- Experience with embedded Linux, including Yocto Project, PetaLinux, or Buildroot, and RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
- Experience developing software for ARM/FPGA-based SoC platforms, such as Xilinx Zynq, for mission-critical applications.
- Familiarity with I2C, SPI, CAN, and AXI communication buses and low-level embedded interfaces.
- Experience debugging across software, firmware, and hardware boundaries.
- Relevant mission-critical application experience in aerospace, automotive, medical, or similar systems is applicable.
