Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and take responsibility for complex cloud-native software solutions and architectures.
- Advise customers on Microsoft Azure adoption and on application architecture, design, and implementation.
- Develop cloud-native solutions focused on reliability, security, performance, and cost.
- Integrate Azure cloud services, container platforms, and serverless technologies into customer architectures.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching for international cloud engineering and development teams.
- Support cloud-native presales and sales activities, conduct feasibility studies, and lead innovation projects.
- Contribute to the continued development of NTT DATA’s cloud-native service portfolio and collaborate with national and international teams.
Requirements
- Several years of experience developing modern software, including technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus.
- Experience designing and building cloud-based microservices architectures.
- Extensive hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, including productive use of container platforms and serverless technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud-native tools for continuous integration and delivery, observability, and security, such as GitLab, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, or Trivy.
- Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to teams.
- Strong IT architecture experience and the ability to present recommendations to decision-makers and larger audiences.
- A degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Strong communication skills and very good German and English language skills.
- A cloud certification such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert is preferred.
