Base Salary
$350k - $430k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, scale, and operate production-grade machine learning systems for real-time personalization.
- Develop and validate models, analyze large-scale data, and implement modern machine learning research.
- Build scalable, efficient, and automated processes for model development, validation, implementation, and data analysis.
- Maintain a high bar for system quality and proactively prevent regressions through testing techniques.
- Lead cross-functional machine learning projects and partner closely with Product and Engineering.
- Improve project quality through direct technical contributions and advocacy for broader engineering changes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience building software systems is ideal and experience with a system long enough to understand the consequences of technical decisions is required.
- Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch, XGBoost, pandas, matplotlib, SQL, and Spark or similar tools.
- Proficiency or experience with Python.
- Extensive experience using machine learning and data analysis to build scalable systems and data-driven products.
- Proven experience building scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analysis, model development, model validation, and model implementation.
- Experience leading cross-functional machine learning projects.
- Strong collaboration, technical leadership, communication, and quality-focused engineering skills.
