Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and operationalize production-grade LLM and Generative AI applications across AWS Bedrock and GCP Vertex AI.
- Develop predictive modeling, deep learning, natural language processing, data pipelines, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring systems.
- Architect serverless, event-driven, microservices, API, agentic AI, and RAG systems for enterprise healthcare use cases.
- Build document ingestion, embedding, chunking, grounding, retrieval, vector search, tool-use, and workflow orchestration capabilities.
- Optimize production workloads for cost, performance, token usage, latency, and scalability.
- Ensure AI solutions meet responsible AI, data privacy, security, HIPAA, governance, risk assessment, documentation, and auditability requirements.
- Partner with product, engineering, data, security, compliance, clinicians, and business stakeholders to define roadmaps, metrics, and solution direction.
- Present technical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor engineers, manage team performance and development, and contribute reusable patterns, frameworks, runbooks, and platform accelerators.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of large-scale software development experience.
- At least 5 years of solution architecture or system design experience.
- At least 5 years of experience building large-scale microservices and APIs using Node.js.
- At least 3 years of hands-on AWS and GCP experience with serverless, event-driven, AI/ML, and CI/CD environments.
- Strong Python experience for AI/ML engineering.
- Production experience with agentic AI frameworks, RAG architectures, and vector databases.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI, or similar technologies, including capabilities such as models, agents, knowledge bases, guardrails, tuning, evaluation, vector search, and pipelines.
- Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and technical presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a high school diploma plus four years of relevant experience may qualify.
- Preferred experience includes Vertex AI Generative AI Studio, vector search orchestration, agent capabilities, OpenSearch, Pinecone, FAISS, pgvector, Milvus, prompt engineering, evaluation, observability, LLM security patterns, technical documentation, Agile/SAFe, and AWS or GCP certifications.
