Base Salary
$125k - $201k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and support high-performance Go-based multi-domain platforms on distributed database, messaging, and decentralized compute infrastructure.
- Implement distributed and decentralized architectures, scalable data fabrics, APIs, message queuing, event streaming, authentication, authorization, and containerization and orchestration.
- Write high-quality, reusable, highly concurrent code and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot complex distributed-system issues, optimize performance and latency, and tune database queries.
- Maintain and enhance existing data pipelines and backend systems.
- Provide customer support for software systems and application issues.
- Apply emerging technologies and industry trends to improve backend architecture.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of software development experience, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Go, including concurrent programming, Goroutines, and microservices architecture.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, fault-tolerant design, event-driven architectures, and service mesh or discovery tools.
- Strong database experience with relational schema design, NoSQL solutions, and distributed caching.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
