Responsibilities
- Architect, estimate, manage, develop, and maintain backend and frontend systems for enterprise Data to Decision projects.
- Integrate algorithmic output from data science and engineering teams through backend APIs.
- Create dynamic infographics with intuitive user controls in collaboration with business and product owners.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their delivery and career development.
- Translate technical project journeys for clients and serve as a technical speaker.
- Participate in UAT and diagnose and troubleshoot bugs and application integration issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for developed processes and applications.
- Develop RESTful services, APIs, databases, applications, and servers supporting websites.
- Deploy and maintain high-traffic infrastructure and address performance and multithreading needs.
Requirements
- 9+ years of demonstrable experience building and working as a Fullstack Engineer for enterprise web applications.
- 4+ years of experience designing and architecting full-stack solutions.
- Expert-level proficiency with JavaScript ES6, HTML5, CSS, ReactJS or VueJS, and Python 3.4+.
- Expert-level proficiency with FastAPI, Django, or Flask and with system design, architecture, networking, and security.
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and data warehousing concepts including OLAP and OLTP.
- Hands-on experience with REST concepts and building or interacting with REST APIs.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive web design.
- Hands-on experience with test-driven development using Jest, PyTest, or Nose.
- Familiarity with D3, Chart.js, Highcharts, and Progressive Web Apps.
- Experience with high-traffic infrastructure, with performance testing as a plus.
- Experience with event-driven architecture using RabbitMQ or Celery.
- Working knowledge of GitHub and strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Azure Web App, Azure Storage, Azure VM, AWS EC2 containers, or GCP Services is preferred.
- Experience working with UX designers, managing Sprints with Jira, and using Agile practices is preferred.
- Experience with microservices, messaging brokers, caching, Nginx, Apache HTTPD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools is preferred.
