Java Full Stack Developer - Tech Lead
State StreetResponsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, maintain, and support web-based software applications in a client/server environment.
- Build reusable UI and backend components using Java/J2EE and React or Angular.
- Write database queries and stored procedures and perform performance tuning.
- Analyze new requirements, estimate task complexity and duration, and complete coding and unit testing independently.
- Collaborate with technical teams, SQA, business analysts, production support, and client support.
- Anticipate and resolve critical issues and risks, meet delivery deadlines, and prepare system documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5–10 years of software development experience using Java/J2EE and related technologies.
- Expert-level knowledge of Java 8+, JEE, concurrency, JDBC, React, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Spring, Spring Boot, Git, and MQ/Kafka.
- Knowledge of data modeling, database development, SQL, PL/SQL, and Linux.
- Strong programming, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and independent development skills.
- Preferred: cloud development experience, Azure or AWS knowledge, Tomcat Server, Veracode, Black Duck, and financial markets domain knowledge.
