Responsibilities
- Collaborate across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions.
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects involving distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Build and enhance local and established build and deployment pipelines, and troubleshoot complex pipeline issues.
- Debug issues across backend, frontend, middleware, infrastructure, databases, pipelines, and distributed systems from local development through production.
- Develop features that improve user experience and address relevant non-functional requirements.
- Teach architecture and design patterns and mentor members of the engineering community.
- Identify root causes, implement fixes, and correct affected data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- At least 9 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 7 years of experience building backend services, including technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, Node, Scala, TypeScript, and Spring Boot.
- At least 2 years of experience with a frontend language, such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
- At least 6 years of experience with database technology, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
- At least 2 years of experience with a UI framework, such as Angular, Vue, or React.
- At least 3 years of experience designing, building, and testing distributed systems.
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing strategic projects.
- Preferred: 4+ years with Agile or Kanban software development, a cloud computing provider, automated testing supporting continuous integration and deployment, a server-side application framework, software building and testing, and high-level design.
- Internship experience does not apply to the specified experience requirements.
