Responsibilities
- Assess testing requirements and determine the functionality covered by automated testing.
- Design and execute manual test plans and test cases for UI and API products.
- Author, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and expand test coverage.
- Document, track, troubleshoot, and help resolve defects, including coordinating retesting.
- Analyze, summarize, and publish test results for internal customers.
- Verify that software meets functional, quality, performance, and product standards.
- Collaborate with development, testing, IT, business, and vendor teams on code delivery and defect resolution.
- Facilitate code reviews, debug and maintain automated test code, and support configuration and software deployments.
- Improve testing processes and contribute to automation standards, procedures, and strategy.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of related experience in a QA/QC software testing role.
- At least 2 years of experience in test automation.
- Experience facilitating code reviews, debugging, and maintaining automated test code.
- Experience with Playwright, Karate Test, Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter, or Appium.
- Experience with Git and Jenkins for configuration management and software build/deployments.
- Experience with flat-file data storage and manipulation and testing REST API endpoints.
- Knowledge of HTTP, cookies, HTTPS/SSL, browser caching, HTTP status codes, HTTP headers, sessions, and vulnerabilities such as cross-site scripting.
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot problems, communicate clearly, manage changing priorities, and collaborate remotely.
- Current authorization to work in the United States without requiring present or future company sponsorship.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of database or query experience, such as SQL or PL/SQL, is preferred.
- Experience with Postman or a similar tool is preferred.
