Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts aligned with software engineering standards.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects to improve product quality.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning and intermediate-complexity automation scripts.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate test automation strategies early in the development process.
- Create test plans, reports, and other automated testing documentation.
- Contribute to code reviews and share testing expertise with the team.
- Recommend improvements to test automation frameworks and practices.
- Assist in developing test strategies for product functionality testing.
- Work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to independently exercise judgment and discretion in significant matters.
- Experience with automated testing, test execution, defect reporting, script repair, and testing documentation.
