Responsibilities
- Lead the technical implementation of test strategies, frameworks, and automation solutions for web and mobile applications.
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize automated testing frameworks and solutions across UI, API, database, performance, functional, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with project requirements and quality standards.
- Own test execution, reporting, defect identification, prioritization, documentation, and triage in collaboration with development and product teams.
- Drive automation strategy, QA best practices, testing metrics, and process improvements for assigned projects.
- Integrate automated test suites with build and CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide status updates, metrics, risk assessments, technical problem-solving, and coaching to QA team members.
- Participate in recruiting and onboarding new QA team members and collaborate with developers, product owners, project managers, and Scrum teams.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in QA or software testing.
- Experience designing and implementing manual and automated test solutions and leading end-to-end test management across the software lifecycle.
- Strong programming or scripting skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, JMeter, Cucumber, Appium, Postman, and Report Portal.
- Experience with UI, API, and performance testing, as well as test case management and defect tracking.
- Experience with estimation, prioritization, planning, and coordination of QA activities in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience integrating test suites with Git and Jenkins-based DevOps or CI/CD pipelines.
- Graduate or postgraduate education in BE/BTech, ME/MTech, or MCA is preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, prioritization, problem-solving, ownership, attention to detail, and independent technical leadership skills.
