Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable telemetry ingestion and storage pipelines for metrics, logs, traces, and error data across multi-cluster infrastructure.
- Build low-overhead observability solutions, instrumentation libraries, SDKs, and eBPF-based auto-instrumentation.
- Own and evolve core observability platforms through migrations and architectural improvements that improve reliability, reduce cost, and scale with growth.
- Develop cross-signal correlation, unified query interfaces, and AI-assisted diagnostic tooling to reduce detection and resolution times.
- Turn continuous profiling and utilization telemetry into optimization insights across CPU, memory, and accelerator fleets.
- Partner with Research, Inference, Product, and Infrastructure teams to meet their operational visibility needs.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building and operating large-scale observability or monitoring infrastructure.
- Deep end-to-end experience with observability signals, from instrumentation through ingestion, querying, and analysis.
- Understanding of high-throughput telemetry pipelines and operational-data collection, storage, and querying tradeoffs at scale.
- Ability to investigate below the application layer, including the kernel, network stack, and hardware.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work independently through ambiguous, high-impact infrastructure challenges.
- Preferred: 10+ years of relevant industry experience, production eBPF observability, fleet-scale continuous profiling, kernel and syscall debugging, accelerator workload profiling, high-cardinality metrics or large-scale telemetry storage, OpenTelemetry collector pipelines, tail-based sampling, and AI/LLM applications for operational workflows.
