Responsibilities
- Design and own end-to-end AI features from prompt engineering and model selection through scalable APIs and responsive front-end surfaces.
- Architect multi-agent and agentic workflow systems using LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or custom orchestration layers.
- Build production RAG pipelines with chunking, embeddings, indexing, and reranking strategies.
- Integrate hosted and local LLM providers with fallback, rate-limiting, and cost controls.
- Deliver accessible, low-latency React experiences with graceful degradation.
- Build and maintain high-throughput Go or Node.js backend services for inference and orchestration.
- Define LLM evaluation frameworks, red-teaming processes, and regression suites for measuring production model quality.
- Instrument AI pipelines with tracing, latency histograms, and cost dashboards.
- Implement responsible-AI practices including hallucination mitigation, PII redaction, output guardrails, and bias monitoring.
- Partner with Engineering and Data to translate ambiguous business problems into technical roadmaps and drive AI engineering strategy.
- Author RFCs, lead design and architecture reviews, mentor senior engineers, and contribute to hiring and candidate screening.
