Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across product, UX, data, QA, project management, design, and engineering to define functional and non-functional requirements.
- Plan work estimation and forecasting and promote effective collaboration across teams.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and document software applications and integrations.
- Write high-quality, reusable, testable code and implement unit and integration tests.
- Diagnose and resolve critical performance and software issues.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborative programming practices.
- Establish development practices and processes and adhere to architecture, design, security, and implementation standards.
- Manage and mentor software engineers and help teams achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science plus 5+ years working with web technology stacks and web standards, or a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or an equivalent degree plus 7+ years of experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET, .NET 8, ASP.NET MVC, and C#, including advanced client-side and server-side development principles.
- Proficiency with SQL Server, including stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
- Experience with JavaScript and a component UI library, with Kendo UI strongly preferred.
- Background configuring and securing file transfer protocols and automating file movements through APIs.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
- Experience with GitHub or GitLab and development tooling and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Proven experience managing developer teams, architecting and scaling complex technical solutions, and leading in Agile environments.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Preferred experience includes frontend development, third-party frontend integrations, GoAnywhere MFT, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Python, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Treasury, Corporate Finance, or banking domains.
