Base Salary

$81k - $139k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and support Salesforce applications and platform capabilities in a secure federal Salesforce cloud environment.
  • Administer users, roles, permission sets, profiles, groups, queues, sharing rules, connected apps, service accounts, and access/security configurations.
  • Manage Integration, Stage, Production, sandbox, and other approved development and testing environments.
  • Create, refresh, validate, and decommission Salesforce sandboxes with application, release, and business teams.
  • Configure Salesforce flows, page layouts, Lightning record pages, custom objects, fields, validation rules, reports, dashboards, email templates, and user experience enhancements.
  • Coordinate and execute major releases, minor releases, hotfixes, and production changes, including release planning, readiness reviews, rollback planning, and post-deployment validation.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline activities, version control, deployment automation, release artifacts, release notes, and environment documentation.
  • Review technical designs for dependencies, environment impacts, deployment risks, security impacts, regression concerns, and operational readiness.
  • Troubleshoot release, deployment, environment, access, configuration, integration, and production support issues.
  • Support incident response, hotfixes, data import/export/cleanup/migration, production deployments, outages, and occasional off-hours operational needs.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator for large production organizations.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on DevOps experience involving software release management, version control, and deployment automation.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for federal contract requirements.
  • A current Public Trust clearance/suitability determination or active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • Must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., perform all work in the U.S., and have lived in the U.S. for three full years of the last five years.
  • Preferred qualifications include an active Salesforce Administrator certification and additional Salesforce certifications such as Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, Sharing and Visibility Architect, or Identity and Access Management Architect.
  • Preferred experience includes Salesforce Government Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce Shield, OmniStudio, large multi-org environments, SSO/MFA, identity management, data migration, API integrations, cybersecurity compliance, documentation, and production incident support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, writing, organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills are preferred.

  • The position is contingent upon a contract award and is not an immediate opening, although ICF is conducting interviews and extending offers in anticipation of the award.
  • The role may require occasional off-hours releases, production deployments, outages, hotfixes, or urgent operational support.
