Responsibilities
- Define and drive software testing and verification strategies across functional, integration, system, regression, exploratory, and risk-based testing.
- Design, review, and execute test scenarios and test cases, and lead integration and end-to-end testing.
- Analyze test failures, manage defects, perform root-cause analysis, and drive effective defect resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and stakeholders to identify quality risks, requirement gaps, traceability issues, and testability concerns.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring in software testing and quality engineering, including release-readiness assessments.
- Improve testing processes, methodologies, tools, and efficiency, including AI-assisted test design, automation, and failure analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Long-standing experience in software testing, verification, or software quality engineering, including technical ownership of complex testing activities.
- Strong knowledge of functional, integration, system, regression, exploratory, and risk-based testing methodologies.
- Experience defining test strategies and release-readiness criteria.
- Experience with requirements analysis, test scenario and test case design, requirements-to-test traceability, software integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong experience in defect management, root-cause analysis, and quality risk assessment.
- Experience using Azure DevOps, ALM, or equivalent tools.
