Responsibilities
- Create test plans, report and triage bugs, identify automation opportunities, and support design reviews.
- Develop and maintain AI-based automation frameworks and solutions for wireless validation.
- Qualify Wi-Fi/Bluetooth coexistence features on Apple devices, including concurrent traffic and performance scenarios.
- Analyze Wi-Fi and Bluetooth logs and isolate issues across software, firmware, drivers, and RF layers.
- Identify coverage gaps, reduce duplicated testing, and prevent regressions through cross-functional collaboration.
- Document reproduction steps, logs, performance data, and root-cause findings.
- Develop and maintain Python-based testing tools and integrate them with AQS, ATP, CI, or Jenkins environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, wireless networking, mobile platforms, or wireless validation/testing.
- Experience with Python or another scripting language for test automation and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of 802.11 Wi-Fi fundamentals, including frequency bands, channel and bandwidth configuration, throughput, latency, packet loss, and roaming.
- Hands-on experience testing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth coexistence, including concurrent traffic and performance scenarios.
- Experience with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth log analysis and debugging across software, firmware, driver, and RF layers.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Preferred experience with OTA, RvR, mobility, system-level validation, Python-based frameworks, AQS, ATP, CI, or Jenkins.
- Preferred experience using Generative AI or agentic tools to improve test coverage, log analysis, root-cause analysis, and wireless validation.
