Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated frameworks for functional, regression, system, integration, UI, API, and backend testing.
- Develop test plans, test cases, automated scripts, and Gherkin scenarios using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, and Appium.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo or GitHub Actions.
- Execute and document tests, log and manage defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues and optimize performance.
- Maintain traceability among requirements, scenarios, test results, and defects.
- Contribute to performance and security testing, code reviews, and application testability.
- Partner with development and DevOps teams to prioritize automation opportunities.
- Coordinate testing activities with project and program managers and independently manage project-related communications.
Requirements
- Strong experience automating manual test cases with Playwright, Selenium, TestComplete, or Cypress for .NET and Java applications.
- Knowledge of Java programming and experience with .NET, Java, and Python systems.
- Experience working with Windows and Linux/Unix services.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems such as MySQL and SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and test management tools.
- Experience with DevOps integration tools and BDD/TDD test frameworks.
- In-depth understanding of software testing principles and defect management.
- Experience in IT and capital markets, banking, financial services, or related domain testing is desired.
- Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, solve problems analytically, and independently plan and execute testing activities.
