Responsibilities
- Lead the full software development lifecycle to define, design, and implement Appian automation solutions for major commercial clients.
- Lead and mentor consultants through fast-paced software implementations.
- Partner with Appian Architects and Technical Delivery Managers to design resilient, scalable, and secure system architectures.
- Build secure, high-throughput APIs connecting external enterprise environments through REST, SOAP, and JDBC.
- Oversee advanced relational data models and production SQL database designs.
- Collaborate with client executives and technical stakeholders to drive platform adoption and client self-sufficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in software development or technical implementation consulting.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineering talent.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, database design, data modeling, and SQL queries, joins, and views.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Elastic Containers.
- Preferred knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, automated test suites, and continuous integration frameworks.
- Experience with Salesforce or ServiceNow is preferred.
