Responsibilities
- Build integrated production prototypes that combine LLMs, backend services, and polished frontend interfaces.
- Architect and develop interactive workflow UIs for complex semiconductor verification processes.
- Collaborate with product designers to deliver high-quality, pixel-perfect interfaces and usability.
- Own APIs and orchestration patterns connecting frontend applications with ML inference servers and backend services.
- Partner with ML researchers, product teams, and users to translate technical requirements into AI-enabled proof-of-concept features.
- Drive engineering roadmaps with researchers, hardware experts, and product managers to identify features that improve user adoption and retention.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of frontend software engineering experience focused on sophisticated user experiences.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript and React, along with a deep understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and web technologies.
- Experience designing complex user experiences with strong attention to usability and interface quality.
- Experience working with LLMs or building AI-powered applications, including familiarity with agents, multimodality, or simulation methods.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions with minimal supervision, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver commitments.
- Comfort working in an evolving environment with dynamic objectives and iterative user collaboration.
- Experience brainstorming and iterating with product designers.
- Experience as a zero-to-one engineering lead or startup founder is highly valued.
- Experience building IDE extensions, developer tools, design-to-code systems, semiconductor products, hardware products, or software for hardware products is a bonus.
