Base Salary
$97k - $132k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the Developer Center documentation site, including Docusaurus theme customization, MDX components, versioning, search configuration, CI/CD, and analytics.
- Write and maintain API documentation, SDK guides, and integration tutorials for external developers.
- Establish documentation standards and maintain quality through linters, AI-powered authoring tools, and code and documentation reviews.
- Build new features and enhance existing features for the Developer Center in collaboration with platform engineers, product managers, and designers.
- Use AI tooling for drafting, research, and content audits while technically verifying content before publication.
- Communicate progress and challenges proactively to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of combined software engineering and technical writing experience.
- Strong technical writing skills for a developer audience.
- Experience with Docusaurus or comparable documentation frameworks.
- Strong proficiency with HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.
- Experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express or Next.js.
- Ability to own build and deployment pipelines, including previews and static site builds.
- Strong information architecture skills.
- Familiarity with Java or Kotlin is preferred.
- Experience with AI development, content consumed by AI agents, SEO, generative engine optimization, web accessibility using WCAG, or Google Analytics is preferred.
