Responsibilities
- Respond to incidents and troubleshoot unknown system issues.
- Design, modernize, replace, maintain, and operate systems supporting Rakuten Edy and Rakuten Cash.
- Improve monitoring quality and establish operational best practices and standards.
- Implement security measures including ransomware protection.
- Investigate issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
- Coordinate with domestic vendors in Japanese.
Requirements
- More than three years of Linux or Solaris system operation experience.
- Advanced Japanese ability for reading technical documents and communicating with domestic vendors.
- Kubernetes operation experience is preferred.
- Logstash and Filebeat installation and operation experience is preferred.
- Jenkins and GitLab operation experience is preferred.
- Docker operation experience is preferred.
