Base Salary
$110k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect new and existing systems to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Build and iterate on CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage, develop, design, and deploy microservice and containerized applications.
- Implement security controls in distributed systems and agents.
- Automate deployments and configurations across platforms with engineers and developers.
- Develop scalable observability automation and standardize alerts, notifications, and monitoring responses.
- Perform root cause analysis, contribute to post-mortems, and implement resulting action items.
- Support hybrid cloud production containerization services and develop automation and integration standards.
- Learn existing toolsets and implement features that streamline operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience, master’s degree with 6 years of experience, or PhD with 2 years of experience.
- Knowledge of cloud platform administration across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of observability pillars, high-scale environments, and distributed architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience running Docker workloads with Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
- Ability to administer Linux and Windows environments and work independently or collaboratively.
- Preferred experience includes SPIRE/SPIFFE, Terraform, Crossplane, Git, Mercurial, Subversion, Python, Elixir, Go, MCP server authorization controls, database systems, serverless architecture, containerized applications, data pipelines, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, ArgoCD, and Helm.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure AZ-900.
