Base Salary
$75k - $90k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack applications from concept through production across frontend, backend, and APIs.
- Integrate LLMs, vector search, AI workflows, agents, and other AI capabilities into products.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define features, user experience, and system behavior.
- Architect scalable backend systems and data flows using API-first and event-driven patterns.
- Prototype and iterate rapidly on AI-driven features and products.
- Evaluate and implement third-party AI tools, APIs, and infrastructure.
- Optimize AI system performance, reliability, and cost.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to product strategy.
- Develop AI-powered search, recommendation, workflow automation, generative AI, and API capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Astro and backend technologies such as Node.js, PHP, or Python.
- Experience building and shipping production applications.
- Experience integrating AI APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Strong data modeling and system design skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AI-native products, Pinecone, Weaviate, Upstash Vector, edge or serverless platforms, developer platforms, API-first products, ML fundamentals, real-time systems, streaming data, or startup and small-team environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
