Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
- Deliver full-stack applications using Java, Spring technologies, Angular or React, databases, messaging, and cloud and DevOps tooling.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other functions to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, secure coding, and effective unit testing.
- Support successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to agreed plans, budgets, quality standards, and governance requirements.
- Manage risk and controls, contribute to policies and procedures, and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
- Lead collaborative assignments and guide team members where required.
Requirements
- Experience with Core Java and Java 11 or 17.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate or JPA, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Angular or React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap or Material Design.
- Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQL query optimization, and database design.
- Experience with Kafka, IBM MQ, JMS, and REST or SOA integration.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, Jenkins, GitHub or GitLab, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and SonarQube.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and Selenium testing frameworks.
- Cloud-platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is valued.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and distributed systems is valued.
- Exposure to financial services, banking, lending, wealth management, or payments platforms is valued.
- Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or the ELK stack is valued.
- Success requires skills in risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills.
