Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized software solutions.
- Deliver full stack applications using backend, frontend, database, integration, messaging, and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other functions to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, promote knowledge sharing, and contribute to technology communities.
- Implement secure coding practices, unit testing, and controls to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Support the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects according to plan, budget, quality, and governance standards.
- Lead collaborative assignments, guide team members, influence stakeholders, and advise on complex technical and operational issues.
- Identify and mitigate risk, strengthen controls, and contribute to policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience with Core Java and Java 11 or 17.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, microservices, and software integrations.
- Front-end experience with Angular preferred or React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap or Material Design.
- Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQL query optimization, and database design.
- Experience with Kafka, IBM MQ, JMS, and integration technologies.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, Jenkins, GitHub or GitLab, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and SonarQube.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and Selenium testing frameworks.
- Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is valued.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and distributed systems is valued.
- Exposure to financial services, banking, lending, wealth management, or payments platforms is valued.
- Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or the ELK stack is valued.
- Ability to apply risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills.
