Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Serve as the core technical AI expert supporting the stand-up and operation of the U.S. Secret Service AI Team.
- Provide AI subject matter expertise for initiative planning, execution, risk assessment, technical evaluation, and portfolio management.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI technologies, platforms, and use cases aligned with CIO mission objectives.
- Contribute to the AI Strategy and three-year roadmap by assessing emerging technologies, capability gaps, and strategic investments.
- Lead development of an AI use case repository and evaluate use cases for technical feasibility, security, ethics, and mission alignment.
- Develop proofs of concept and prototypes, evaluate vendors, and provide solution architecture guidance.
- Create AI implementation playbooks, templates, workflows, decision frameworks, governance processes, and responsible AI guidance.
- Collaborate with Cyber, Infrastructure, Mission Delivery, and field operations stakeholders to support responsible AI adoption.
- Support AI governance charter development, model lifecycle management, knowledge transfer, and capability building.
- Monitor the AI landscape and provide thought leadership on emerging capabilities, industry trends, and federal AI policy developments.
Requirements
- BA/BS plus 15 years of experience in AI/ML technology implementation and strategy, with equivalencies considered, including 21 years without a degree, an AA plus 17 years, or an MA plus 12 years.
- Demonstrated expertise in NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, generative AI, and deep learning.
- Proven hands-on experience developing, deploying, and operationalizing AI/ML solutions in enterprise or government environments.
- Ability to maintain a Public Trust clearance.
