Responsibilities
- Develop production-ready embedded solutions and ROM-based firmware for automotive products.
- Develop middleware for Ethernet-based protocols and ADI proprietary bus protocols such as E2B.
- Design, develop, and support compliance for MACSEC and MKA cybersecurity stacks.
- Translate customer and internal requirements into software requirements, designs, and automotive software solutions.
- Analyze, enhance, optimize, debug, and port existing embedded software across platforms.
- Develop and execute unit-level developer tests and automated embedded software tests.
- Identify product requirement and performance issues and coordinate with external teams to resolve them.
- Support end-to-end development from proof of concept through production.
- Travel 10% of the time as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of related industry experience.
- Strong embedded C and/or C++ programming skills and signal-processing fundamentals.
- Background in system firmware, drivers such as SPI, I2C, and UART, RTOS-based applications, or Linux/Android-based applications.
- Experience with object-oriented software design and development; C# is preferred.
- Experience developing and debugging software in real-time, embedded, multiprocessor, and multi-interface environments.
- Exposure to automotive infotainment, audio, or automotive networks such as CAN, MOST, and A2B is highly desirable.
- Ability to read schematics and assist with analog and digital hardware debugging.
- Ability to use oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of software development tools including debuggers, emulators, and compilers.
- Ability to test and reproduce complex software problems and develop solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and verbal and written communication skills.
