Responsibilities
- Create software requirements and define static and dynamic software architecture.
- Design and implement embedded software modules, interfaces, and algorithms.
- Perform unit-level verification and integration testing in host and target environments.
- Integrate software modules and conduct software-software and software-hardware testing.
- Analyze issues identified during testing campaigns or in-service use.
- Perform software verification and validation across the full software lifecycle.
- Maintain software configuration management and comply with applicable requirements, design, coding, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with embedded software requirements engineering and architecture.
- Experience with module-level design, interface design, algorithm development, and embedded programming.
- Experience with unit and integration testing in host and target environments.
- Experience with software configuration management and the full software lifecycle.
- Knowledge of requirements, design, and coding standards and RTOS.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience with DO-178 standards, project management skills, and knowledge of avionics systems and networks are preferred.
