Responsibilities

  • Own technical execution from discovery through production, including building, assessing, hardening, and delivering AI prototypes and proofs of concept.
  • Design and govern reusable agentic AI patterns covering orchestration, tool use, memory, retrieval, prompt engineering, context management, and production guardrails.
  • Integrate AI into enterprise systems through APIs and data pipelines while meeting security, compliance, data-governance, and data-residency standards.
  • Create reusable patterns, reference implementations, and starter kits; provide architecture, infrastructure, hosting, sizing, and budget recommendations.
  • Work with internal stakeholders, host-function users, senior management, and cross-functional teams to finalize requirements and drive technical decisions.
  • Write specifications, design data models, fix complex bugs, establish measurable baselines, and instrument solutions for productivity, cost, and quality outcomes.
  • Track in-flight AI pilots to prevent duplication and identify solutions suitable for reuse and scaling.
  • Plan and sequence delivery, manage scope and dependencies, remove blockers, and coordinate internal and external resources.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, serve as the squad’s primary technical contact for external resources, and mentor and elevate engineers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on AI system design, development, or integration and a record of taking enterprise AI prototypes to production.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience with LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, context-window management, production guardrails, MCP, tool-augmented agents, and enterprise-scale RAG.
  • Experience integrating AI with enterprise systems through APIs and data pipelines, with strong security, data-governance, and data-residency practices.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and managed AI/ML services.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL, and relevant AI SDKs.
  • Experience modeling data across relational, columnar, and vector stores and applying sound architectural principles.
  • Ability to manage delivery, scope, dependencies, priorities, budgets, and external resources while operating effectively in ambiguity.
  • Strong communication and influence skills, including presenting to senior management and driving cross-functional technical decisions.
  • Experience establishing baselines and measuring productivity, cost, and quality outcomes from pilot through scale.

Benefits

  • Healthy work/life balance, flexible working hours, wellbeing initiatives, and country-specific benefits.
  • Shared parental leave, maternity, paternity, adoption, and family-care leave.
  • Study assistance, sabbatical leave, and a generous vacation entitlement.
  • Comprehensive pension plan and personal choice budget.
  • Internal communities and networks, employee discounts, recruitment introduction rewards, and a global Employee Assistance Program.
