Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for developer experience and AI tooling across the engineering organization.
- Evaluate, deploy, and drive adoption of AI coding assistants and agentic development tools, including enablement, best practices, guardrails, and cost management.
- Build internal AI-powered agents and automations for CI failure triage, incident response, code review assistance, operational runbooks, and internal bots.
- Improve CI/CD pipeline speed and reliability, build and test infrastructure, local development environments, and deployment workflows.
- Design and implement ephemeral, production-like developer environments across Tatari’s microservice landscape.
- Define and instrument developer productivity and AI tooling adoption metrics to prioritize improvements.
- Partner with application engineering, data science, and analytics teams to understand workflows and deliver adopted improvements.
- Participate in technical architecture discussions and occasionally contribute to core reliability and infrastructure work.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud-based infrastructure, platform, or developer tooling roles; Staff-level candidates should have driven tooling or platform adoption across multiple teams.
- Daily hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar.
- Experience building with LLM APIs and agentic workflows, including function or tool calling, MCP, prompt design, or agent frameworks.
- Experience owning or significantly improving CI/CD systems, build and test infrastructure, or developer environments with measurable results.
- Strong Python and shell scripting skills.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration such as Kubernetes or Docker.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, preferably Terraform.
- Experience with AI tooling rollouts, LLM evaluation, ephemeral or preview environments, GitHub Actions at scale, build caching, test parallelization, flake management, RDBMS, or data infrastructure is preferred.
- Go or Rust experience is preferred.
