Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the multi-year technical roadmap for Trusted Partner Cloud operations.
- Develop operational strategies to minimize correlated failures across isolated sovereign cloud environments and scale operational load sublinearly as regions launch.
- Lead convergence and integration of turn-up graphs for new region and service deployments.
- Provide senior technical oversight for critical production and staging environments.
- Design and drive adoption of AI/ML solutions, including agentic tooling and RAG-driven diagnostics, to replace manual operations with policy-supervised automation.
- Establish incident-response protocols and sustainable operational models with VPs, engineering leaders, and partner operator teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience programming in C++.
- Experience architecting, deploying, or managing large-scale cloud infrastructure or distributed systems.
- Experience managing incident response, mitigating failures, and configuring production monitoring or alert systems.
- Experience building automation, internal tooling, or AI-driven solutions for operational work.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: Experience with Google Cloud Platform services, particularly GCE and underlying resource requirements.
- Preferred: Experience defining processes in complex organizations, presenting to and influencing senior leadership, working with external partners or in regulated environments, and leading through influence across engineering teams.
