Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead VM shape-based capacity planning and workload prediction to optimize regional and zonal resource distribution.
- Architect and implement fungibility solutions and capacity-sharing infrastructure across AI and Computing Infrastructure and Central Fleet.
- Develop compute and storage overcommit technologies, reduce maintenance holdbacks and stranded resources, and influence scheduling improvements.
- Enable new product introductions and GPU/TPU initiatives through capacity observability, capacity landing, and unified capacity interfaces.
- Lead cross-organizational efforts and advise decision-makers on cloud infrastructure investments and cost-effective capacity scaling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience programming in C++.
- 7 years of experience building large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, or working with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- 5 years of experience with design and architecture and testing or launching software products.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects preferred.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field preferred.
