Base Salary
$160k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and architects to define project requirements and technical specifications.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve product defects and customer issues.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and drive technical innovation.
- Keep current with emerging technologies and improve software development processes and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of backend software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and JPA.
- Experience designing and consuming web services and working with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Extensive experience with cloud environments, distributed systems, cloud-native applications, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, code quality, and unit testing skills.
- Working knowledge of Gradle, Maven, or jOOQ is preferred.
