Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on projects and influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.
- Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams regarding goals, outcomes, and timelines.
- Use hardware/software co-design and knowledge of modern server architecture to develop targeted performance enhancements.
- Investigate massive database and analytics workloads to identify and resolve critical performance bottlenecks across the compute stack.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience programming in C++ or Python.
- 5 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
- Experience with database internals, performance analysis, and software architecture.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Preferred: experience in computer architecture.
