Base Salary
$131k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Azure infrastructure with Terraform, including networking, compute, managed services, and secrets.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and Helm-based deployments for production microservices.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
- Define and improve metrics, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing.
- Lead incident response, write postmortems, and implement reliability improvements.
- Manage PostgreSQL backups, replication, failover, migrations, and query performance.
- Support local development environments, deployment workflows, and developer tooling.
- Enforce secrets management, network policies, access controls, and vulnerability scanning.
- Support migration from a legacy .NET/MSSQL platform to a modern cloud-native stack.
Requirements
- Typically 5+ years of DevOps or platform engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on Azure experience, including AKS, Azure AD, managed databases, blob storage, and networking.
- Experience writing and maintaining Terraform infrastructure as code at scale.
- Production Kubernetes and Helm experience.
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- PostgreSQL operational management, migration, and performance-tuning experience.
- Experience with observability tooling such as Datadog, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with incident response and reliability improvements driven by postmortems.
- Docker and container image management experience.
- Familiarity with secrets management tools such as Azure Key Vault or Vault.
- Ability to work effectively while systems and processes are still evolving.

- Hiring rate is $131,250 to $175,000 annually.
