Responsibilities
- Architect Apigee X organization structure, environment groups, and network topology on Google Cloud.
- Plan and execute Apigee Edge-to-Apigee X migration, including assessment, gap analysis, feature parity analysis, and rollback strategy.
- Design and implement API security using OAuth 2.0, mTLS, API key management, Google Cloud IAM, and service accounts.
- Assess, re-architect, and redevelop existing Edge proxies, shared flows, and policy configurations for Apigee X.
- Design monitoring and operational-readiness frameworks with dashboards, alerting, SLA tracking, and post-migration runbooks.
- Troubleshoot and optimize API performance and security and support API lifecycle automation.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in Apigee is required.
- Proficiency in Apigee and experience designing and implementing Apigee API management solutions.
- Strong understanding of API design principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and integrating APIs with cloud services.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize API performance and security.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation for API lifecycle management.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
