Responsibilities
- Design and develop maintainable, secure, documented, scalable, and testable Java software solutions.
- Implement technical, regulatory, and business requirements for counterparty risk calculation system components.
- Optimize existing code, improve maintainability, integrate software packages, and configure required settings.
- Develop tools and framework changes, review code, and ensure compliance with team development practices.
- Create and implement testing strategies spanning unit testing through acceptance testing.
- Install deployment tools across environments and support testing, acceptance, release, upgrades, and documentation.
- Apply automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
- Participate in technical improvement initiatives, developer networks, knowledge sharing, and ongoing technology training.
Requirements
- Solid Java backend development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Spring.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and technologies such as Oracle Coherence, Apache Cassandra, Spectrum Symphony, Kafka, and Tomcat.
- Experience with testing from unit testing through acceptance testing.
- Understanding of distributed-systems programming patterns and parallelization techniques.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail, precise working habits, concise communication, autonomy, deadline management, and collaborative teamwork.
