Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain AEM-based websites, portals, and content-management solutions.
- Develop reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, Sling Models, and OSGi services.
- Implement responsive digital experiences based on UI/UX specifications.
- Build and maintain integrations between AEM and external enterprise systems.
- Develop and manage Content Fragments and Experience Fragments.
- Support content authors and business teams in creating efficient authoring experiences.
- Optimize application performance, caching, content delivery, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot AEM application, integration, deployment, and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and solution planning.
- Support deployments across development, QA, UAT, staging, and production environments.
- Maintain technical documentation for components, integrations, configurations, and development standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software or web development experience with strong hands-on Adobe Experience Manager development experience.
- At least 4 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong experience with AEM Sites, component development, templates, editable templates, dialogs, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
- Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR, HTL/Sightly, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
- Experience developing Sling Models, Servlets, Services, Schedulers, and OSGi configurations.
- Experience integrating AEM with external systems using REST APIs and other integration approaches.
- Experience with Git, AEM authoring and publishing environments, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Preferred experience includes AEM as a Cloud Service, Adobe Cloud Manager, AEM Dispatcher, caching, CDN concepts, headless AEM, GraphQL APIs, Adobe Experience Cloud, and React or Angular integration.
- Preferred knowledge includes AEM security and permissions, automated testing, code-quality tools, and automated deployment pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
