Base Salary

$255k - $375k/yr

Responsibilities

Shape and set the technical vision and multi-quarter roadmap for AI and platform engineering.
Address ambiguous technical problems across the enterprise and deliver effective solutions.
Direct high-level system design and architecture across AI, infrastructure, and data.
Lead DevOps, CI/CD, and developer experience decisions and best practices.
Guide technical evaluation and selection of AI providers and platforms.
Set standards and paved-road patterns for the platform engineering team.
Advise on AI applications across engineering, product, and business functions.
Ensure AI and infrastructure deployments meet security and compliance requirements.
Mentor engineers and set a high engineering bar for the team.
Stay current with AI advancements and recommend new tools and capabilities.

12+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering.
Deep expertise in AI platforms and strong command of cloud infrastructure.
Proven track record of delivering systems from ambiguous, high-stakes problems.
Experience with production systems on cloud and understanding of software development lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with large language model APIs and agent frameworks.
Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and cloud networking.
Experience deploying production workloads across cloud environments.
Ability to leverage AI tools for development and automation.
Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Self-directed with the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
