Responsibilities
- Design, configure, enhance, customize, and support Oracle Revenue Management and Billing applications.
- Develop and support real-time and batch programs using OUAF, Java, Groovy, and plugin-driven batches.
- Integrate ORMB with third-party applications using REST, web services, XML, JSON, and other integration approaches.
- Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries within the ORMB data model.
- Diagnose and resolve system performance issues involving query optimization, database configuration, and end-to-end performance.
- Build interfaces, perform data migrations, and develop configuration artifacts including service scripts, plug-in scripts, BPA scripts, UI maps, zones, and portals.
- Prepare configuration design documents, build instructions, and deployment materials.
- Collaborate with QA teams on test-script development and execute end-to-end testing of customizations and enhancements.
- Provide functional and technical production support during and after go-live.
- Monitor job streams during critical billing and general ledger activities and perform post-deployment smoke testing.
- Collaborate with configuration management teams to deploy solutions in on-demand environments.
- Support analytics and reporting capabilities using BI Publisher and Oracle Analytics.
Requirements
- Hands-on technical experience with ORMB modules including customer setup, billing, pricing, billing payments and collections, and general ledger.
- Strong understanding of ORMB technical architecture, framework methods, web application servers, business application servers, and database servers.
- Extensive experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework, Java, REST, XML/JSON, Oracle Database, Groovy, and plugin-driven batches.
- Experience designing and supporting real-time and batch programs, integrations, deployments, interfaces, and data migrations.
- Proficiency with complex SQL and PL/SQL, ORMB table structures, performance tuning, AWR reports, and system monitoring tools.
- Experience with ORMB configuration, extensions, enhancements, reporting, service scripts, plug-in scripts, BPA scripts, UI maps, zones, and portals.
- Experience supporting QA validation, production troubleshooting, deployment, smoke testing, and post-go-live operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve production issues promptly.
- Experience with BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics, Unix, GitHub, shell scripting, Autosys, and AWS is preferred.
