Responsibilities
- Understand and contribute to the Azure Integrations codebase and development processes, including Jira, technical design, code review, testing, and deployment.
- Analyze and refine requirements with product managers and stakeholders and drive clarity for engineering work.
- Provide support and resolve bugs and customer-reported issues.
- Scope and plan engineering efforts with stakeholders to support project and feature launches.
- Design and implement high-performance, distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant software components.
- Participate in pull request reviews and mentor more junior team members.
- Collaborate with QA, Product Management, Technical Support, Documentation, TPM, and UX teams.
- Own features and systems and define their long-term health, observability, and reliability metrics.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience building highly reliable, mission-critical software.
- Experience with systems at scale, including monolithic applications and microservices.
- Experience with server-side technologies including caching, asynchronous processing, and multithreading.
- Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Redis.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and people from varied backgrounds.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Graph APIs, particularly identity APIs.
- Preferred experience with modern frontend development such as ReactJS.
