Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex granular and bulk recovery workflows across backend services and the admin console.
- Build reliable real-time components that capture deletion events, restore data at scale, and expose recovery status to administrators.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and performant front-end workflows for recovery dashboards, bulk restores, and audit views.
- Solve relationship restoration and state consistency problems involving group memberships, app assignments, and device enrollments.
- Implement secure Syslog logging and tracking for recovery operations to support audit and compliance requirements.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and technical leads to define scope and milestones.
- Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analyses, and improve observability, logging, and metrics.
- Champion code quality through reviews, automated unit, integration, and UI testing, and technical documentation.
- Mentor intermediate and junior engineers across the full stack.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience building and scaling reliable production-grade full stack applications.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills with extensive Java and Spring Boot experience.
- Experience building component-based web UIs with React and TypeScript, including state management, performance optimization, and accessibility.
- Experience with distributed systems, asynchronous job processing, and event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL and caching systems such as Redis.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs and using them in responsive front-end applications.
- Ability to independently translate ambiguous requirements into clean, scalable software designs across the stack.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with IAM standards such as SCIM, SAML, OAuth, and OIDC, or directory services such as AD and LDAP, is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes resilient systems design, feature flagging, gradual or canary deployments, queueing systems or message brokers such as Kafka, design systems, component libraries, and cross-browser or responsive UI testing.
