Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and troubleshoot secure, stable, scalable software solutions.
- Create high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that integrate with appropriate systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met in code.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to drive continuous improvement of applications and systems.
- Identify problems and patterns in data and use insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice, technical events, team culture, and responsible AI-assisted development practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency with Java EE full-stack development, Spring Boot, and SOLID design principles.
- Experience with MQ or Kafka, Oracle, Cassandra, NoSQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Dockerization, containerization concepts, Kubernetes, JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and Playwright.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Understanding of AI models and coding assistants such as Copilot, including the ability to evaluate and refine AI-generated code and follow responsible AI and security practices.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies, React, JavaScript, AWS offerings, and cloud-agnostic application development and deployments is preferred.
