Responsibilities
- Build billing products and large-scale frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
- Design and develop micro-frontend applications using domain-based architecture and single-SPA.
- Build Node.js backend-for-frontend services with Apollo GraphQL and defined backend integration contracts.
- Partner with Design on shared design systems, reusable components, and consistent UI and UX.
- Deliver NPM packages, reusable library widgets, and open-source projects for customer integration.
- Deploy micro-frontends and Node.js services using GCP, Alibaba Cloud Kubernetes, bucket CDN, Cloudflare, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Build unit and end-to-end test coverage using React Testing Library, test-rendering tools, and Cypress.
- Develop no-code and serverless CMS capabilities using Contentful and Next.js.
- Research emerging technologies, participate in the frontend guild, lead engineering initiatives, and reduce technical debt.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of frontend development experience, including at least 2 years of frontend architecture experience.
- Experience developing large-scale financial web systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, ECMAScript 6+, and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with React, Vue, Angular, and their surrounding technology stacks.
- Experience with Emotion, styled-components, and SCSS.
- Familiarity with Material UI, Ant Design, Bootstrap 3, or other CSS frameworks.
- Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS protocols and RESTful API design.
- Experience with Webpack, polyfills, and Rollup.js.
- Experience building backend-for-frontend services with Node.js.
- Preferred experience developing frontend frameworks and publicly sharing frontend technical work.
- Preferred experience with GraphQL, Next.js, Redis, relational databases, GA, and GTM.
- Preferred experience with CSS animation, Zeplin, Abstract, responsive mobile web development, UI, or visual identity.
- Preferred experience with BDD, TDD, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, Java, Kotlin, or Shell development.
- Ability to own a roadmap, make decisions with incomplete information, collaborate across time zones, and work with high quality and accountability.
