Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, scenarios, and strategies for features, enhancements, and regression cycles.
- Perform manual functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, exploratory, UI/UX, backend, API, and data-flow testing.
- Create, maintain, execute, and analyze automated regression and smoke test suites using Selenium or comparable frameworks.
- Validate APIs, request and response payloads, status codes, and integration flows using Postman, Swagger, or REST Assured.
- Identify, document, track, and report defects and quality metrics using tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and automation engineers throughout development cycles.
- Promote QA best practices, identify process gaps, propose improvements, and mentor junior QA team members when needed.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of professional QA experience.
- Strong manual testing experience across web, mobile, or enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar test automation tools.
- Understanding of automation frameworks, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Banking-domain experience is an added advantage.
