Responsibilities
- Create test scenarios from user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Manage product regression suites, including release and signoff processes.
- Develop advanced testing techniques and improve automated test strategies for a multi-user web application.
- Write automated tests using state-of-the-art and GUI-based testing tools.
- Debug failed tests, identify root causes, and report issues to the team.
- Provide input to design and development processes to improve testability, quality, and user experience.
- Identify and raise bug reports through manual, automated, and regression testing.
- Validate product and component functionality and adapt testing to new platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- More than five years of software QA experience writing test automation scripts.
- Proven experience testing complex software, systems, and platforms with strong software engineering knowledge.
- Working knowledge of web-based system testing, QA processes, and software development life cycles.
- Strong programming knowledge and familiarity with Agile, Lean, and XP development practices.
- Experience with CI/CD and Git.
- Familiarity with databases and ability to write SQL.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver and functional testing is advantageous.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Python, particularly Pytest, is advantageous.
- Experience with Eggplant Server and Eggplant Functional is an added advantage.
- Comfort working from the command line on Linux and Windows, and familiarity with model-based testing, is advantageous.
