Responsibilities
- Define and govern enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and reference architectures for cloud and AI transformation.
- Lead end-to-end AWS cloud migration projects, including landing zones, migration strategies, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Drive application modernization from monolithic systems to microservices using API-first and cloud-native patterns.
- Design and optimize multi-tenant SaaS platforms, APIs, middleware, and event-streaming integrations.
- Provide technical leadership for modern engineering practices, event-driven architecture, and AWS-native CI/CD pipelines.
- Establish architecture governance for security, compliance, risk management, infrastructure-as-code, DevSecOps, and observability.
- Collaborate with C-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams through architecture workshops and technology-strategy alignment.
- Mentor delivery teams, conduct design reviews and technical assessments, and support successful transformation-program execution.
Requirements
- At least seven years of experience leading enterprise architecture, cloud transformation, and application modernization initiatives.
- Substantial hands-on experience with AWS solutions, AWS PaaS services, networking, and cloud migration implementation.
- Expertise with AWS Cognito, EKS, ElastiCache, Kinesis, Redshift, IAM, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, Aurora, and RDS.
- Proficiency designing and implementing microservices and distributed-systems architectures.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Java, Python, Node.js, ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience with REST, gRPC, Thrift, event-driven architectures, and Kafka.
- Knowledge of Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, and observability tools such as Datadog and OpsGenie.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI, LLMs, AI platform architecture, RAG, and orchestration.
- Preferred experience with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI APIs, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude Code, and VS Code.
- Familiarity with TOGAF, SaaS operating models, multi-tenant platform design, data engineering, analytics, MLOps/AIOps, Databricks, Airflow, Temporal, and Opty.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is desired.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Professional Architect certification and TOGAF or equivalent certification are desired.
