Responsibilities
- Independently design, implement, lead, and test scalable web application features across frontend and backend services.
- Own critical components end to end and resolve complex technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks across the stack.
- Optimize code and system architecture for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Provide technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, lead cross-team code reviews, and help establish quality and performance standards.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver enterprise SaaS products.
- Translate complex product and technical requirements into clean, efficient, working code.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new models, procedures, and cloud-native application architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Typically at least 8 years of related professional software development experience, or 6 years with a master’s degree, 3 years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, time and space complexity, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and backend programming using Java, JavaScript/Node.js, or Python.
- Understanding of APIs, microservices, end-to-end application communication, SQL/NoSQL databases, and data modeling.
- Proficiency with Git and strong problem-solving, ownership, adaptability, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work on-site in Pune 3–4 days per week.
