Responsibilities
- Build and extend backend services for the AI-driven procurement platform.
- Implement LLM- and RAG-based pipelines for spend categorization and supplier analysis.
- Develop and maintain workflows that automate analysis and recommendations.
- Contribute to the Buyer Portal frontend using React to create user-friendly interfaces.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to enhance development speed and quality.
- Integrate with customer data sources and manage real-world datasets.
- Collaborate with founding engineers on architecture and execution decisions.
- Write clear, maintainable code with a focus on performance and reliability.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong backend experience in building APIs and data pipelines.
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and React.
- Practical experience with AI-powered systems like LLMs and RAG.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity.
- Strong product and design sense with an ownership mindset.
- Ability to balance speed with correctness in development.
